Antares — Born Under the Heart of Scorpius
Some names are chosen simply because they sound beautiful. Antares was chosen because it tells his story.
Antares takes his name from the magnificent red supergiant at the heart of the constellation Scorpius, often described as the “Heart of the Scorpion.” The name is especially fitting for this puppy, as he is one of the three distinctly red puppies in our litter, making him a living reflection of his celestial namesake.
But Antares is far more than a beautifully red-colored Ibizan Hound. He comes from a rare Malloqruin lineage with deep European roots, a bloodline that we are committed to preserving and developing with purpose. Our dogs are sourced directly from Europe, bringing exceptional pedigrees and carefully selected bloodlines to our program in the United States.
Our breeding philosophy is centered on quality rather than quantity. Litters are produced selectively and with considerable planning, with attention to pedigree, health, structure, temperament, and the preservation of the distinctive qualities that make this lineage so special. As a result, puppies from our program are available only in very limited numbers.
Antares is available with a non-refundable $3,000 reservation deposit. His placement price begins at $6,000 for exceptional homes, exclusively as a pet, with the final price dependent upon the breeding rights included in his contract.
A reservation is more than simply securing a puppy. It represents an opportunity to become part of a rare European bloodline that remains uncommon in the United States. We carefully consider every prospective home and strive to create placements that are successful for both the puppy and his future family.
From your first inquiry through the day Antares joins your household, we provide personal guidance throughout the process. Our goal is not merely to place a beautiful dog, but to raise and place a healthy, well-socialized, exceptional Ibizan Hound with a family that truly appreciates what makes this lineage unique.
Before submitting a deposit, please complete our puppy application. Every application is reviewed individually, and reservations are accepted only after the application and placement have been approved.
Antares carries the name of the crimson heart of Scorpius — fitting for one of the three red stars of this extraordinary litter and for a puppy born from a lineage we believe is worthy of preservation.
